Pens and Detoit come face to face again tomorrow night.

The Penguins will play the team that eliminated them from the Stanley Cup Final for the first time since that series tomorrow night in Detroit. Everyone knows that not only did the Red Wings defeat us, they also went on to sign Free Agent Marian Hossa who played for the Pens the last stretch and the playoffs last season. We all know that Hossa chose Detroit's offer over the Penguins, but it is time to move on. He decided on another team, which he had every right to do. Yes, people in the organization got the vibe from Hossa that he would be back here and Hossa saying that he wanted to play for the team that had the best chance of winning the Stanley Cup all stung a little bit and added some salt to the wound. However, that is over, all in the past and this is this season. I am not saying that I wouldn't love to see the Pens get a little revenge over Detroit, because that is exactly what I want. That revenge would be a win, and I go into every game wanting a win, so this is no different than any other game, right? Well, it may stir up some strong emotions and some bad memories. I may want a win a tad more than usual and a win might be a tad more satisfying against the Red Wings this season, but none of it will change the outcome of last season. We'll just have to wait and see what this season becomes...
