Yesterday it was announced that the Penguins traded Mark Letestu to the Columbus Blue Jackets in exhange for a 4th round draft pick at the 2012 draft.
We knew it was coming. Letestu was struggling early in this season and with some players starting to get healthy, he became the odd man out. If we would have sent him down to the Baby Pens, he probably would not clear waivers, get picked up by another team and the Pens would get nothing in return. By trading him, the Pens got something out of the transaction.
